- BRAND DISCOVERY
Every brand project commences with the discovery phase which includes a brand questionnaire and discovery call. During this stage, I get to know your brand, vision and goals to ensure that we are both on the same page. Gathering all of this information helps me to dive deep into your brand – knowing what problems it aims to solve and who it aims to help.
- BRAND STRATEGY
In this next stage, research is conducted into the brand to develop a brand strategy. The brand strategy outlines aspects such as the brand mission, goals, values, personality, target audience, competitor analysis and positioning strategy.
The client is also presented with two concept directions, guided by the findings of the brand strategy and my intuitive led design process. - BRAND IDENTITY
Once a concept direction has been selected, the brand’s initial visual identity concepts will be developed. The client will receive a couple of initial brand identity concepts, and the full visual identity will then be created based on the selected concept. This will include logo variations, brand marks, typography, photography direction and deliverables outlined as per the chosen package.
- BRAND DELIVERABLES
The final step in the process is creating your brand guidelines and final export of the deliverables outlined in your package. Your brand guidelines document provides you will everything you need to know about best practice for using your visual identity including typography, colour palette, logo variation use and social media feed guidance.
I also provide your final logo files in various file types to cover your needs for print and digital applications.

In short, no – I do not offer logo only packages. I believe wholeheartedly in the brand strategy process as it ensures your brand’s visual identity is in total alignment with the mission, values & goals at the core of your business.
To me, designing a logo without brand strategy is like trying to make a meal with whatever ingredients are left over in the fridge. Yeah, it’ll do the job – but it’s not going to be a standout brand. -
Unfortunately my process doesn’t allow for this. Colour, typography and style exploration for a client’s branding is guided by my brand strategy process. I always ask clients to keep an open mind as as even though I do take into account personal preferences for colour, style, typography, etc. the brand strategy may provide other insights which nudge us in a different direction in order to accomodate factors such as standing out from competitors, appealing to the target audience and the positioning of your brand.
My branding process is both intuitively and strategically based, so I do try to encourage that strategy is placed before a clients' personal preferences. I understand that this doesn't appeal to all clients so I like to be upfront about this to ensure we are both aligned and expectations are managed. -
I am usually booked up at least a month in advance for branding projects so I do encourage clients to get in early to secure their spot.
After submitting a contact form, I will get in touch with you to understand your brand’s vision, goals and mission as well as the services that you’re after and schedule in a discovery call. If we determine that we are a good fit to work together, I’ll send across an invoice for you to pay a 50% deposit and a contract for you to sign.
Your project is only considered booked in once I receive this deposit and signed contract. -
Payments are broken into two parts – a 50% non-refundable deposit that secures your booking and a final 50% payment that is to be received prior to the delivery of your final files.

I will provide you with a timeline guide for your project, however much of this is guided by how long it takes to receive client feedback. I do ask that clients provide feedback within three days to help the project stay on track.

This is assessed on a case by case basis. I will be more likely to say yes if your brand has an existing brand guidelines document and several logo variations to work with. The reason being is that I want to ensure that you are not receiving a piecemeal identity for your brand – establishing a cohesive brand identity is of utmost importance to my process.
